In compliance with Section 121 (II) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, (as Amended), the Ogun State House of Assembly will on Monday, 13th December, 2021 play host to Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of Government in the State for the defence of 2022 Budget.

A release signed by the Clerk of the House/ Head of Legislative Service, Deji Adeyemo indicated that the exercise which would be declared open by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo would be conducted through the various standing Committees to be presided over by the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Olakunle Sobukanla.

The Budget defence according to the release would commence with the Ministry of Health and related agencies, and would run from Monday, 13th December, 2020 through Thursday, 23rd December, 2021 at 10:00 am prompt each day holding at Room 215, Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.

The release enjoined all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the State to keep to their schedule for the annual exercise.
