OGHA COMMITTEE COMMENDS SCHEDULED DELIVERY OF AGRO-CARGO AIRPORT NEXT MONTH
Members of the Ogun State House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure have commended the pace of work on the State Agro-Cargo International Airport, Iperu, and the proposed delivery scheduled for next month.
The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Adegoke Adeyanju, in company of Honourables Yusuf Amosun, Ayodele Wasiu, Lawal Samsideen and Seun Adesanya, who were conducted round the facility by the Project Manager of Craneburg Construction Company, Nicholas Mfarrej, explained that the project was 98% done including the Apron, Watch Tower, runway, control tower and fire station.
The lawmakers commended the work done and the economic potentials of the project upon completion and delivery.
In another development, the lawmakers also visited the rehabilitation of the 1.3km Ayepe Junction/Mayflower Road in Ikenne, where the Engineer in charge, Engr. Olusola Akerele, said the work which commenced barely two months ago would be completed within a record time.
The lawmakers who later conducted an on-the-spot assessment of Awokoya Road in Ijebu-Ode, were at the 12.3km Ilishan/Ilara/Akaka/Ode-Remo Road where they summoned the contractor handling the project to appear for a meeting with the lawmakers for discussion on the scope of the construction works.
