Ogun State House of Assembly through its Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption has commended the State Signage and Advertising Agency led by the General Manager, Mr. Fola Onifade for surpassing its revenue drive in the year 2024.

The members of the committee led by the Chairman Hon. Damilare Bello, gave the commendation during the consideration of the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report on the State Ministries, Departments and Agencies at the Assembly Complex Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Committee however directed the agency to provide supporting documents on lands and building expenditure, as well as details on planning, monitoring and evaluation carried out by the agency in the year under consideration.

Earlier in his remarks, the General Manager Mr. Onifade, commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for prioritising the welfare of the agency’s staff, by approving a 10% commission for staffers and agents that reported erection of signposts in any part of the State.

He noted that the incentive scheme had greatly motivated the personnel and signage agents in contributing to the huge revenue drive recorded during the year under consideration.

The House Committee also played host to the Management of the State Universal Basic Education Board led by its Executive Chairman Evangelist Olalekan Joshua Ifede, for the consideration of the Board’s Auditor-General’s Report.
