Musefiu Lamidi, at the Assembly Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akinmade highlighted the Ministry\u2019s dedication to deploying innovative communication strategies to foster two-way dialogue and mobilize citizens for sustainable development. &#8220;We are focused on reawakening the public to embrace Ogun State\u2019s core values and leveraging the successes of Governor Dapo Abiodun\u2019s developmental strides to strengthen the state\u2019s brand identity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that the Ministry\u2019s activities would remain grounded in the principles of separation of powers, ensuring balanced publicity for all arms of government. &#8220;We will continue to assist every organ of government in effectively communicating their activities to the public,&#8221; Akinmade affirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry proposed a total budget of N2.023 billion for 2025, with N328 million allocated for capital projects, N1.23 billion for overhead costs, and N461 million for personnel expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responding to the proposal, members of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation urged the Ministry to strengthen collaboration with other agencies to ensure citizens are well-informed about government initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Ministry has a critical role in ensuring that government achievements resonate with the people. Enhanced collaboration will deepen public trust and participation,\u201d remarked Hon. Musefiu Lamidi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also defending their budget proposals were Ogun State Television (OGTV), Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC), and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
