OGUN ASSEMBLY SCREENS ADDITIONAL THREE COMMISSIONER NOMINEES, REQUESTS DEVELOPMENT DRIVEN POLICIES, OTHERS

Ogun State House of Assembly today screened the three additional Commissioner nominees, whose names were contained in a list forwarded to the Assembly last week with a charge to them to redouble their efforts in the delivery of quality service and be creative in generating more revenue for the State without putting unnecessary financial burden on the people.

The State lawmakers led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, threw the challenge today, while screening the nominees including Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Efuwape, TPL. Olatunji Odunlami and Mr. Wasiu Isiaka at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Speaker enjoined them to always remain committed to quality service, avoid any form of influence that could impede the progress and development of the State if confirmed by the Assembly and appointed by the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

In their responses, the nominees promised to consolidate on their achievements during the first term, while assuring that they would continue to synergize with the State legislature and other relevant stakeholders to render development driven policies and programmes for the development of the State.
