OGUN ASSEMBLY COMMENDS STATE HOSPITALS ON REVENUE DRIVE, URGES PROCUREMENT OF MORE MEDICAL FACILITIES
Ogun State House of Assembly Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-corruption has commended the Management teams of the State Hospitals Ijebu-Ode and Isara for their efforts towards improving revenue as contained in their financial records for 2021 and 2022 fiscal years.
Members of the Committee led by the Chairman, Hon. Damilare Bello gave the commendation, while the hospitals took turn to appear before the lawmakers during the ongoing consideration of Audit reports on Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Bello in company of Honourables Babatunde Tella and Dickson Awolaja, lauded the Medical Directors in charge of the facilities for their efforts at providing medical and health care services to the people, noting that the hospitals had lifted the bar of performance in health care delivery and revenue drive.
The lawmakers admonished the management teams of the State Hospitals to step up measures at ensuring the procurement of additional medical facilities including ambulance amongst others to further aid their operations.
