Ogun State House of Assembly has passed a resolution on the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development Regulations and Building and Construction Code, 2025 alongside amendments to its regulations including the Building Production Management Regulation, Planning and Development Permit Regulations, Slum Regeneration Regulation, Outdoor Physical Furniture Regulations and Layout and Land Subdivision Regulation.

The passage of the resolution followed the presentation of the report of the House Committee on Lands and Housing by the Committee Chairman, Hon. Damilola Soneye, recommending the approval of the amendments.

The motion for the adoption of the committee’s report was moved by Hon. Damilola Soneye seconded by Hon. Samisudeen Lawal, while Hon. Ademola Adeniran later moved the motion converting the report into a resolution of the House.
