Rt. Hon. Elemide Oludaisi Olusegun (Arch) is a Politician, Businessman, Professional, Teacher and Farmer, born 31st Aug. 1964 in Abeokuta to the family of Late Chief Augustus O. Elemide and Late Mrs. A. Elemide. His foster father was the former Majority Leader of Ogun State House of Assembly, 1979-1983.
Education and Career:
He attended Christ the King Catholic Church School, Odo-ona, Ibadan, between 1971-1976. Left for Reverend Kuti Memorial Grammar School, Abeokuta between 1976-1981, where he completed his secondary school education. Had a brief stint as a survey technician, under Penrose Johnson Associates (Consulting engineer) between the year 1981-1984.
He proceeded to the Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in 1984-1989, where he had both his OND and HND in Architecture. He had his compulsory National Youth Service at Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri between Aug.1989 - Aug.1990.
He took up a teaching career under the Teaching Service Commission, Ogun State between 1991-1997, where he worked at two secondary schools (Muslim Progressive High School, Oke-odan and United Comprehensive High School, Wasimi).
He voluntarily withdrew his service to practice his course of study (Architecture), and he is the founding partner of Eternal Excellency Investment Limited.
He had his Masters degree in Federal University of Technology, Akure in Architecture, and presently running his PhD program in the same course of study. He is a farmer with vast experience of poultry, piggery and other livestock brooding.
He is a seasoned politician that has served at many political capacities and levels, respected for his discipline and honesty; he is considered the best legislature of his generation.
He was Transition Chairman, Odeda LGA in year 2003. First elected Member Ogun State House of Assembly between 2011-2015, 2019 - 2023 and till date serving his people for the 3rd term successively as one of the serving legislators in Ogun state. Oludaisi Elemide was born an Anglican and still Anglican in his parent's village church.
He is an ordained Minister of God in Gospel Apostolic Church, where he holds the post of a Pastor.
He was formerly ordained a Deacon, later an Evangelist and currently a Pastor.
He is a touch bearer with window hindsight in recognizing talents and human development. A philanthropist and religions leader in Ogun state. A perfect Gentleman.
He had numerous awards from different spheres of Associations and groups. ~ Politician of Year ~ Most Innovative Legislature -~Democrat of the Year Award in 2019 for his outstanding resilience to principle of equity amongst his colleagues in the house.
He's happily married and blessed with children who are doing well in their field of life.
