Folawewo Fatiu Salami has carved a path of excellence through sheer determination and an indomitable spirit. Born on 7th June, 1971, Folawewo Fatiu Salami was raised in a modest household where the values of hard work and integrity were instilled from a young age. Despite facing numerous challenges, he displayed a remarkable work ethic and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Folawewo Fatiu Salami had his primary school education at Ansar Ud Deen Primary School Agbado Station, Ogun State, from year 1977 to 1983 after which he proceeded to Agbado District Comprehensive High School Oke-Aro, Agbado from 1984 to 1990 for his secondary school education. He studied at The Polytechnic, of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria where he bagged both Ordinary and Higher Diploma in Accountancy respectively from 1992 to 1997. Driven by a passion for learning, He also obtained a Certificate from the workshop on the New Import Guiding’s & Destination Inspection Organized by Access Bank in year 2006. His leadership style and political knowledge gave him the privilege of becoming stakeholder in Ifo II State Constituency. Through perseverance and grit, He climbed the ranks in his chosen field, earning accolades and recognition for his outstanding contributions. PROFESSIONAL CAREER • Managing Director at FM Awwabah Ventures, Lagos State; • Operations Manager at Caledonian Investments Limited, Lagos State; • Marketing Manager at Abiola Publishing Limited, Lagos State, from 2005 to 2011; • Store Officer at Abiola Bookshops Limited, Lagos State, from 1999 to 2005; • Abiola Bookshops Limited - National Youth Service Corps between 1998-1999; and • Site Supervisor at Femi Adeboye Builders - Industrial Attachment between 1994 and 1995.

• Fola Salami's profile won't be complete without his political experience. He was a foundational member of Alliance for Democracy, AD in 1999. • In 2011, He was the People's Democratic Party's Candidate for Ifo ll State House of Assembly. • He later contested under the People's Democratic Party's as the Candidate for Ifo Local Government Chairmanship in 2012. • He was a member of the Advisory Council of Ifo Local Government Under administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun in 2015. • In 2019, he contested the seat of the Ifo II State House of Assembly under the Umbrella of the All Progressives Congress, APC. • He later held the position of the Chairman of the Transition Committee of Ifo Local Government between January 2020 and July, 2021 with a sterling performance and visible records to show for it. • In the 2023 General elections, he flew the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Ifo II State House of Assembly seat which he won on landslide. • His is currently the Member representing Ifo II State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly in the 10th Assembly for 2023 to 2027 political calendar.
