Hon. Lukman Olalekan Adeleye hails from Ibefun, Odogbolu Local Government of Ogun State. He is a thoroughbred educationist, a community development advocate, a farmer, a sociable organiser, a businessman, consummate politician and a mobilizer par excellence. His philosophy of life is that “a candle does not suffer any loss by lightening another candle". Until his election into the Ogun State House of Assembly in March 18, 2023, Hon. Adeleye was the MD/CEO. of ChemoGenius & Co. Nig. Ltd ; (a limited liability company that deals with Heavy Equipment Hiring, Leasing, Services and writing of environmental impact assessment). Hon. Adeleye's legislative intereSts are in the fields of Education, Before venturing into private practice with Gheemo Genius, Hon. Adeleye Lukman was an Education Officer with the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. He had had excellent stint as classroom teacher at various schools where he taught Chemistry and Mathematics. Adeleye Lukman Olalekan Is a Christian. He attends the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is married and the marriage is blessed with beautiful kids.

Lukman Adeleye was elected as the President of Science Education Student Association (SESA) at Tai Solarin College of Education in 2000. In 2001, he co-founded Ogun Student Enlightenment Forum, a socio-political group, with like-minded students like to campaign for the governorship bid of Otunba Gbenga Daniel under the PDP. Olalekan Adeleye has served in various party organs. He was the Local Government Organizing Secretary for PDP. He had also served as ad hoc delegate for the party's primaries severally both at state and national levels. As a gifted community organiser, Hon. Adeleye has servéd in various committees of the lbefun Community Development Association at different times. The most recent role was his membership of the 25th Coronation Anniversary and 70th birthday ceremony of Oba Gideon Adetoye Adesina, the liken of lbefun. He is the President of lbefun Young Professionals Association, an umbrella body that ' rallies young professionals in lbefun and environs. In the socio-cultural circle, Lekan is the Otun-Giwa Egbe Bobagunwa Okunrin Akile-ljebu, an influential age group in ljebuland. TRENDSETTING 2007: Legislative Aide to Hon. Remmy Hazzan, a former member of Ogun State House of Assembly (Odogbolu State Constituency) 2008: Special Assistant to Chief Tope Tokoya, a former Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government 2010: Supervisor for Community Development, Women Affairs, Youth and Employment Generation, Odogbolu Local Government 2011: Odogbolu Local Government Coordinator for a Federal Government’s Subsidy Reinvestment Programme, SURE-P. There, he facilitated the employment of over 150 persons into the Health and Sanitation Sector in the Local Government. 2012: Director of Organisation for the Sina Kawonise for Governor Campaign Organisation.
