Hon. Tella, Babatunde Opeolu PhD born on Friday, 23rd October, 1964 at University College Hospital, Ibadan, in Oyo State. He is a Crown Prince from Isaga-Orile in the Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun State. Academic Pursuits He commenced his high school education at Oranyan Grammar School, Oyo State, from 1976 to 1981 and obtained a G.C.E ‘O’ Level (June) Certificate. He, thereafter, proceeded to Ajebo Community High School, Ajebo from 1983 to 1984, where he obtained another G.C.E ‘O’ Level Certificate in 1984. After a successful Secondary Education, Hon. Tella proceeded to the School of Basic Studies (College of Education, Ijebu-Ode) in 1983 and graduated in 1985 with a H.S.C. ‘A’ Level Certificate. His modest background, notwithstanding, he proceeded to the Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye where he obtained a Bachelor of Art (Hons) Degree in History in 1988. Not yet satisfied with his academic achievement, He was admitted by the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos State where he obtained Post Graduate Diploma, Advertising between 1992 and 1993. He also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and as well as Master in Mass Communication & Media Technology and Ph.D, Mass Communication both from Lead City University, Ibadan in year 2009 and 2020 respectively.
